Choosing The Wood
Choose suitable wood species known for their structural properties, such as spruce, pine, fir, or Douglas fir.
Ensure the wood has a controlled moisture content of around 8-12% to prevent warping and dimensional changes.
Select wood graded according to relevant industry standards for strength and quality.
Consider the mechanical properties of the wood, such as MOE, MOR, and density, for structural performance.
Look for sustainably sourced wood with certifications like FSC.
Determine the suitable panel thickness for your project based on wood species and grades.
Choose a reliable supplier with experience, certifications, and good customer reviews.
